Maybe saving him for his loan to Valencia/Seville(?). Just doesn't make sense otherwise. No injury reported yet we can't even fit a quality £15 million striker on the bench? Nonsensical!

Just hoping that Benteke and their tall players don't have a field day against our CBs. If Coleman can out-jump Fernandez then sure as Hell Benteke, Dann &Co will.

when we make a replacement in attack, hoping itz Oli Mcburnie, definately got goals in him, a 25minute runout would prove this..

Depends on the service doesn't it? If Baston and Llorente had decent service they'd score with no problem, as they have proved in their careers. I wouldn't mind betting that Oli Mac gets better service in the U23s than he'll get from our first team.

Should have been VDH to handle Benteke, FF and Amat not up to it.

Amat and VDH is our best CB pairing.

Benteke needs a roughing up, a few well-placed elbows and sly welcome nudges.

Fede couldn't rough up a fish supper. This will cost us today.

Montero is on the bench, so all the nonsense about his broken whatever has been much about nothing.

No Leon or Ki ..... so no midfield sub on the bench, Don't understand this.

2 backs, 2 wingers, 2 forwards. Sig is going to play 90.

In our current situation we should be playing three strikers up front. Like other posters here I am puzzled Baston is not in the starting XI.
Barrow and Routs can't score, that's a fact. Siggy and Fer are our only attacking threats from open play, and Siggy and Fulton from set pieces. With other words, Palace need to mark Siggy and Fer and we can't score.

Certainly looks like -keep him in cotton wool so as not to ruin the £10 million the Yanks can get for him - I mean they won't want to lose more than 5 mill will they...!

We can always change formation to 4-2-3-1 if one of our midfielders gets injured.
I like Cork, Fer and Fulton in 4-3-3 formation.
